Spot’s Editor and Publisher Jennifer McCammon gives the Good Neighbor Vet Furry Fun Planner Report, on KPSU Radio’s Fathers, Mothers and Families show with Jim Whinston.
This time of year is kitten season and the shelters are filled with little fuzzballs. The weekend is filled with adoption and other events for the cat lover in you. Kitty events include Furry Friends of Washington at the Recycled Arts Festival, Kitten Palooza, Cat Adoption Team and the metro area’s largest cat adoption event, a volunteer orientation at CAT, and the Amazing Acro-Cats at the Aladdin Theater, an amazing and educational show featuring over a dozen rescue cats that will delight the audience.
Not to leave out the canines, there is Bark for Life of Beaverton, a walk to benefit cancer, Golden Bond Rescue’s Golden Vintage dinner and a volunteer orientation at MCAS.
Listen to the broadcast every Thursday evening at 98.1 FM at 6:05 pm or online at KPSU.org.
As always, you can learn more about these and other happenings on our events page at SpotMagazine.net!
