Summer Solstice!

A few events kicking off the first official weekend of summer include Take Your Dog to Work Day on Friday which promotes pet adoption and a stress-less environment in the workplace.  Some other events include a Protect Your Pet clinic at Clackamas County Dog Services with Good Neighbor Vet, Membership and Vendor Fair at Dakota off-leash dog park in Vancouver, and a dog bite prevention class for children hosted by Helping Paws NW.

The weekend is light on events for pets and their peeps but will be bright with sunshine!  Be safe, never leave your pets in the car even with the windows cracked when the temps get over 65 and provide plenty of clean, fresh drinking water for them and for birds and stray, feral outside animals as well.

There are a couple of rabbit adoption outreach events with the Rabbit Advocates, meet retired racers from Greyhound Pet Adoption NW and remember Sunday is Father’s Day!

Also, you heard about it and read about it in Spot – Yoga with Cats!  Animal Aid is hosting a class this Sunday.
