Good Neighbor Vet Furry Fun Planner for Oct 23 2014

Spot Magazine’s Editor and Publisher Jennifer McCammon gives the Furry Fun Planner Report, sponsored by Good Neighbor Vet, live every Thursday evening at 6:05 on KPSU Radio’s Fathers, Mothers and Families show with Jim Whinston.  Listen to the broadcast at 98.1 FM or online at KPSU.org.

Given the spooky season, it’s (super)natural that many of our pet-friendly events this week have Halloweeny themes! If you’re looking for that kind of fun, you can visit Western Pet Supply where there will be a Cute Critters in Costume Photo event benefitting Animal Aid. If you’re a pug fan, check out Pug-O-Ween at Splendorporium. Lexi Dog in both the Pearl and on Macadam are also having Halloween-themed parties as are Furever Pets, Fidos Indoor Dog Park and Fang and Feather who have also tied in a benefit for the fabulous PAW Team Peeps. One of the biggest Halloween events happens Saturday night with the Wildcat Haven Big Cat Bash Fundraiser for that Sanctuary.

In other events, there is a Volunteer Orientation at Multnomah County Pet Services, a Puppy Romp at OHS, and an Animal Community Talks at DoveLewis featuring a discussion on senior animals.

As always, you can learn more about these and other happenings on our events page at SpotMagazine.net! And remember, Good Neighbor Vet offers regular Protect Your Pet clinics throughout the area to make sure your animal companion stays healthy and fit!
