The Good Neighbor Vet Furry Fun Planner for May 8

Spot Magazine’s Editor and Publisher Jennifer McCammon gives the Furry Fun Planner Report, sponsored by Good Neighbor Vet, live every Thursday evening at 6:05 on KPSU Radio’s Fathers, Mothers and Families show with Jim Whinston.  Listen to the broadcast at 98.1 FM or online at KPSU.org.

Lots to talk about as always in the pet-event world and this week Jennifer highlights two Protect Your Pet Clinics offered by our friends at Good Neighbor Vet. Clinics will be happening this week at the Humane Society of SW Washington and Multnomah County Animal Services. In exchange for licensing your pet you can also get a free rabies vaccine and examination.

Jennifer also spends some time talking about the pet event of the year – the Oregon Humane Society’s Doggie Dash, happening this Saturday at Waterfront Park.  Other events happening over the weekend and into next week include adoptable rabbits from Rabbit Advocates at Tigard PetCo, a Meet and Greet with adoptable dogs from Born Again Pit Bull Rescue at Holistic Pets, a Memorial Art Therapy Workshop at DoveLewis, a Pee Wee Play Night at Stay Pet Hotel and a Yappy Hour event at Hip Hound.

As always you can learn more about these events and so much more on our events page at SpotMagazine.net!
