Dignified Pet Services presents 'People in the Neighborhood'
A nationally-recognized attorney with over 25 years of experience, Geordie’s unique Animal Law Practice has put him on the map as the most experienced and well-known animal law attorney in the country. Handling cases ranging from exotic, wildlife, livestock to domestic pets, Geordie’s clients seek resolutions to animal-related legal issues. With an extensive education, lists of awards and accomplishments, and multiple published articles, this Portland native is a husband and father of two young adults. His perfect day would be spent with his wife and kids, taking the tram to the zoo, going out for cheeseburgers, and topping things off with a movie.
Spot recently chatted with Geordie . . .
Morning person or night owl?
GD: Night. I’m usually up till about 2am, as I am a late-night reader. My hobby is reading. I like biology books, history, poetry and mythology. Never fiction.
GD: French fries.
What would our readers be surprised to know about you?
GD: I collect toy robots. Large, medium and tiny ones, I started collecting as a child.
Most important message you would like to share with the world?
GD: I am a big fan of evolution by natural selection. If you are to understand anything about the world, including the people and animals in it, you will need to know about evolution by natural selection and its effect on the world.
The shoe that is so you?
Gd (laughing): Well, I really only wear my dress shoes and my old beat-up tennis shoes. I guess it would be the tennis shoes as they are what I wear at home. When I wear them I am always hoping my wife will not notice so I do not have to do anything around the house.”
