Because everybunny needs a spa day

Got a house rabbit? Want to learn about having one? Rabbit Advocates offers monthly chances to meet adoptable bunnies, or get your own rabbit a nail trim and/or light grooming.

Events are held the second Sunday of each month, noon-3, at Tigard Petco. The Rabbit Advocates request people wanting bunny pawdicures arrive by 2:30, and to bring a clean bath towel and grooming tools if possible. Grooming and nail trims are free, but donations are appreciated. Learn more at rabbitadvocates.org.

Henry

I’m a year-old petite (4.53 lbs) mixed-breed boy with black and white fur and brown eyes. I am very friendly — I love people! And being petted. And I’m litterbox trained! I will do best with in a family with children over 10, and must be kept inside at home. My adoption fee includes a free vet exam. Please come meet me at Greenhill Humane, green-hill.org.

Belle

As a purebred, miniature Rex, Belle has plush, dense fur. She enjoys being petted and you’ll enjoy it too. You’ll love watching her hop and high-kick while racing through the living room! At just 9 months, Belle has energy to entertain you for hours. Learn more about this beauty and all of Greenhill Humane Society’s small animals at Green-Hill.org or 541-689-1503.

Syd Carrot

This Californian mix has been at OHS for a year and a half. No one knows why — he’s so sweet and handsome! He has lived with children and other rabbits, and will benefit from continued socialization and daily attention. He likes to be petted and is learning that being picked up doesn’t have to be scary. Meet Syd Carrot at OregonHumane.org.

Happy and Joey

Guten tag!  We are two wacky bonded sisters who were rescued as itty bitty things a few years ago and are still waiting for our forever home.  Are you looking for two playful bunnies who are pro-binky dancers and super-hilarious?  That’s us!!  We are all about the antics and love to have space to run and play with our toys.  Contact RabbitAdvocates.org to learn more about us and set up a time to visit!

Baxter

I am one big bunny!  A Flemish Giant to be exact.  I have juvenile cataracts so I sometimes bump into things, but I still enjoy exploring outside of my pen and jumping up on my foster family’s bed to lounge.  I don’t love being overly handled, but if you go slow, I can warm up to petting.  Due to my size and vision, I will be most happy in a home with adults experienced with bunnies who can give me time (and patience) to adapt to my new surroundings.  I hope you’re the one!  I’m so eager to find my someone special!  Contact RabbitAdvocates.org.

Benji and Penquin

These two fluffballs are a bonded pair, about six years old. The “Penguin” is quite social, while Benji is more reserved but adventurous. Their family recently relocated, so for the second time they’re in search of a forever indoor-only home. They love to run, play and be all-things rabbit, so will need a bunny-proof area to adjust to their new surroundings and family. Contact 503-788-7676.

Beeps and Rag-A-Muffin

Rag-A-Muffin (cream Angora male) and Beeps (black short-hair mini-mix female) are a unique looking bonded pair who found love at first sight.  “Rags” had recently lost his Angora bonded partner and was very lonely until he met Beeps, who dotes on him.  Beeps arrived with a severely fractured leg that had to be amputated, but that doesn’t slow her down; in fact, she can even stand on one leg!  Rags is very mellow and easily picked up and cuddled for short periods.  Beeps is very personable, and they both love to explore and play as much as snuggle and nap together.  They’re a calm pair who will do best in a quiet home without young children.  Contact Valerie at 503-788-7676 to learn more, particularly about Rags’s grooming needs.

Murphy and Mimi

These two were rescued from a business park in 2007 and are STILL waiting for their forever home!  This beautiful, bonded pair is about 8 years old, and while they are both reserved little bunnies they both like to explore and are curious about the world.  They would do best in a quiet, indoor-only home with human companions dedicated to giving them the love and nurturing they deserve.  Contact 503-788-7676 or RabbitAdvocates.org.
